THE BRITISH PRISONER'S LOT
FOOD AMPLE, BUT POOE. ' (Rec. April 6, 0.10 a.m.) London, April 5. Reports from Doberitz state that the British prisoners refused to Vork, and the Germans threatened to employ them on the highways and canals. The men are punished only on the recommendation of their own sergeants, and are then tied to trees. Prisoners are not allowed to smoke. They Jiave ample supplies of food, but complain of the quality.
