EASTER MEETING OPENS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Christchurch, April 1. The Easter Meeting of the Metropolitan Trotting Club opened at Addicgton today. The weather was rather oppressive, but the attendance was very fair. The track was in capital order and there were good fields. The totalisator receipts for the day totalled £19,924, -as against £27,021 10s. for the corresponding day. ot the last Easter meeting.
