■ —* Much interest is being taken in the forthcoming auction sale of properties jii the estates of the Hon. W. B. Rhodes and ilrs. S. A. Ithodes. The sale is announced to take place at tho Chamber ?w omi ? erce Thursday, April 29 (not Wednesday as previously announced), and the following agents have been instructed to conduct the auction sale: —Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co., Haxcourt and Co., 1 H. xurnbull a nd Co., and Afr. S. ueorge Nathan, As the reserves have 1 been fixed at the lowest possible figures ifc is anticipated that tho bulk of the properties ottered will find purchasers. A large Dumber of valuable warehouses, manuiachiring aud business 6ites in the n.ain thoroughfares will be offered, as well as choice residential sites in AYades- , n. Highland Park, and Goldie's Brae. Amongst the main thoroughfare properties are several with frontages to Lambton Sluay. In the triangle formed by Lambton Quay, Grey and I'eatherston Streets, there are three sections—one having a frontage of 13ft. to Lambton Quay, an--2ft to Grey Street, and the third 3«t. to Featherston Street.
