At Addington the store sheep pens wcto again fully occupied with very heavy entries, and there were moderate entries in other departments. There was a good demand for the better class of Breeding ewes at rather firmer prices, but there was little change in other descriptions. Fat cattle sold at about late rates. Storo sheep were in very full supply, and represented all classes, but poor sorts largely predominated. Quotations are; Fairly good ewe lambs, to 12s. 6d. ;moderately forward, Us. 3d. to 13s. 6d.; inferior, 6a. 9d. to ttt.; cull lambs, 45.; fair-conditioned four and six-tooth wethers, 14s. 3d. to 15s. 9d.; medium two-tooth wethers, 10s. 6d.; good sound-mouth ewes, 15s. to 205.; fair, 13s. 6d. to 14s. lid.; fair-conditioned soundmouth ewe 6, 10s. At Burnside to-day 155 fat cattle were yarded.: Thie was not a large entry, but « owing no doubt to the* approach of the holidays bidding was dock, and prices not equal t-o those ruling last week. The quality to-day was a good deal below the average, and -with the exception of a pen or two. of prime beef the entry was mainly made/up of light-weight bullocks and cows and luufere. ! Prime heavy bullocks, to £16 17s. 6d.; medium, to £15; light-weights, to £11 10b-.; ex- • tra. hoavy cows and Jwifery, to £13 2s. 6d • ' medium, to £9 10s.; light, to £6.
