FHS WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. i ANNUAL MEETING. . Dr. H. C. Faulke presided at the • tnnual general meeting of tho Wellington Hockey Association last night. The annual report (particulars of which have already been published) was ' adopted. The resignation of the Kilbimie Anglican Hockey Club was received with ' regret. The club's- membership has faQua too low to permit of it placing a. team in the field. A. letter was received from the Karori Cricket Club asking for the use of a ground on Karori Park for a cricket ma"tch against the Blenheim "Wednesday. representatives on April 2 and 3. The application was granted. Complimentary references were made to the work of the secretary (Mr. A. A. Bennett), and he was voted an honorarium as in previous years. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—President, Dr. H. C. Faulke; vice-presidents, tlie Hon. A. L. Herdman, Messrs. M. F. Luckie, D. Miller, W. J. Organ, and J. P. Luko; delegates to New Zoalaud Hockey Association, Messrs. F. C. Atkinson and G. M. Haigh; vice-president of New Zealand Hockey Association, Dr. H. C. Faulke; hon. sec., Mr. Alfred A. Bennett; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. S'. Barr; management .committee, Messrs. C. N. Cathie, H. A. Schlaadt, E. Rowntree, W- J. M'Eldowney, G. Morice, F. A. Stuart, A. D. Sheeran, L. E. Webley, and the Wednesday Association's delegate ; ion: auditors, Messrs. \V. R. S. Hickson and W. S. Wheeler. The meeting adjourned sine die pending'the arrival of the mail from Egypt with the balance-sheet prepared by the late-.treasurer, Mr. R. L. Thompson, who is 6erving with the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces.- • WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. • ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Wednesday Hockoj Association was held last night. Sir. C. J. Pfaff was in. the chair. The annual report which was adopted, congratulated members upon the results attained during the past year. ' There were five clubs affiliated, with a total membership of 101 active members. . The report went ,on to refer to the various competitions and cups contested for during the season.. It referred particularly to _ tho success attending the six-a-side' tournament, which sucoess was due largely to Mr. . L. Jackson. The association,-continued the report, had . contributed men whose services had been accepted for active service, and it .extended its best to them. The balance-sKeet;...showed a credit i" balance of £11 12s.' 2d., while the as- : sets exceeded_ liabilities by £25 19s. 2d.. It was decided to leave the question . is to when to open the season s competition matches in the hands of the sxeeutive.. In response to an appeal for help p r rom the Belgian, Relief Committee it was decided to arrange,' if possible, that the proceeds of the. annual fixture, Wellington v. Palmorst-on, go to this snd. It was announced that probably six . teams would be entered for the senior lontest this jear. Officers were clected as follow for the snsuing year:—President, Mr. J. P. • Luke; vice-presidents, Messrs.. J. C. Cusack. C. J. Pfaff, and B. G. B. Burn; swretary and, treasurer, Mr. M'Keever; delegates to tho association, Mr. M'Keever; auditor,.Mr. Reid; committee, Messrs.
