All doubt 011 thematter is 6et at rest by a dispatch for- : warded by the High Commissioner foi, Australia to his Government. According to this, goods from Belgium are not allowed to be imported into the United Kingdom, except by written authorityfrom tho Board of Trade, and tho production of a consular certificate of Belgian origin. An undertaking has to he furnished that payment is to be deferred until the enemy occupation has censed, or, if tlie payment be made into a bank, tho importer must furnish an undertaking that the money shall not be withdrawn except under license.
