ARTILLERY FIGHTING . IN FLANDERS AND CHAMPAGNE The High Commissioner reports: London, March 30, 4 p.m. Taris reports I "The enemy has bombarded Nieuport (West Flanders). Damage wa6 done to the bridge thrown, across the Yser, but it was inconsiderable. "In the Champagne district, there haß been an artillery duel in the .neighbourhood of Beausejour. "In the Argonne artillery fighting and bomb-throwing has taken place, particularly in the Bagatelle district, where the activity on both sides is gicat." Amsterdam, March 29. The remainder of the German headquarters staff has arrived at Toumai. [It was recently stated that the increasing pressure of the Allies' offensive upon Lille had compelled a portion of the German Staff to retire to Teurnai (18 miles eafct of Lille.]
