SUMMARY AND FORECAST
Present indications are for strong west to south-westerly winds, with Equally and changeable conditions generally. Rain probable southward of Kawhia and Caetlepoint, and especially on the West Coa6t and southern districts. The barometer is unsteady. An intense Antarctic storm is passing southward of the Dominion. Strong wester. I.v -winds have prevailed, with rain on the West Coast, hut lair .to cloudy weather has been reported in moot parts to-day. D. C. BATES.
