FIRES
ESCAPE FROM A BURNING HOUSE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, March 26. A seven-roomed house at Glenfield, owned by S. E. Taylor, was destroyed by fire with its contents. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor and two children were in bed, and narrowly escaped. The house was insured for £550 in the National and the furniture for £70 in the South British.
