WAR ON ENEMY TRADE. At Sydney's'-big demonstration in support of Empire trade expansion the hall was decorated with mottoes which made a direct appeal to the patriotism of all who attended. They should appeal to. the patriotism of all Britisher's overseas and in that liopo. we reprint them: — , "England expects that every man-will do his duty." * * * "Patriotism demands that you support Empire trade." * * * "This trado campaign calls for. your co-operation." "Australia for her own kinsmen and their Allies." ■ , ■* * * :"We want' to capture enemy trado.. Will you help?" * * * ' '-'Australia doesn't want goods made 'bv the nation's enemies." * s ' * "Preference for Great Britain and her comradcs in arms." * * * "This is a war of attrition. Help ths Alliotf to outlast the enemy." * * * "Our power depends on how we use our money." ** . * "Your money counts. Every little helps." * * * "We .can't all-fight, but we can-all help."
