PRINGLE'S, LTD.

Established thirty years ago:/ "Pringle's" has become a. household', word throughout the Dominion for their' excellence of design as applied to art; needlework. It is not generally known that all these designs are absolutely, original, being worked out in their own', studio. Pringle's, Ltd., claim that their designs not only meet-local de-, mands better than those imported, but that doing the work here is opening up work of a pleasant naturo for young Now Zealandors. And a further claim is made —which a perusal of their advertisement will confirm—tboy are able to very muoh undersell tho imported article. The present advertisement deals only with a small section o£ their art needlework' department; an- : other branch _ of Pringle's, Ltd.,. in which most interesting originality is displayed, and much artistry, in the skilful blending of colours and materials is "applique" _ work. They are now showing curtains, ; portieres, cushions, eta,, which are uniquely beautiful, butv' which are not easily, illustrated in the rapidly-printed columns of a newspaper; Visitors to Wellington arc promised a most interesting, time,, if, when passing, they call at "Pringle's." Apart from tho pleasure of such a visit, highlytrained assistants —themselves all good' art needlewomen —will be pleased to give evoiy possible holp on any knotty points connected with art needlework. That is another great advantage obtained by dealing with folks like Pringle's, who really understand their special business.
