HARRIERS

The _ annual meeting of the Olympic Harriers was.held in the presence of eighteen members. The president, Mr. Geo. Frost, was in the ichair. The chairman congratulated t'ho member on the successful season just passed, and on the loyalty of the club members, 50 por cent, of whom have gone to the front to fight for their country. He wished them a return. Seven new members were elected. Officers for the coming season were elected as follow:—President, Mr. Geo. Frost (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. Geo. Nicols, A. Purdis, A. Davies, W. H. Philp, W. Coventry, Geo. How, W. R. Gates (all re-elected), and D. Alabostor; captain, Mr. F. J. Bryne (re-elected); deputy-captain, Mr. G. Dixon; general committee, Messrs. L. Brown, F. J. Burrell, E. A. Shaw; lion, auditor, Mr. A. Davies; centre delegate, Mr. W. H. Philp (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mr. W. H. Philp; Hon. handicapper, Mr. F. Hodson.
