WAIRARAPA P. & A. SOCIETY
The committee of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society met at Carterton on Saturday, Mr. W.. Howard Booth presiding. The Club wrote stating that tlio challenge classes awarded to the iWairarapa Show, 1915, wero retrievers (any class) and. St. Bernards. It was ■resolved to request the club to substitute cattle dogs for St. Bernards. The New Zealand Ayrshire Breeders' 'Association intimated that the asso- . elation had allotted two gold medals for : the Ayrshire championships at the ■society's next show. It was resolved that a class "musical chairs" -. on horseback for : ladies be added to .the programme for the second day of this year's show, and the following'suggestions were submitted for consideration for inclusion in 1 ■ the * on horseback and a gift class, as was held at the Hawera Show._ Remits for submission at the annual Conference of the Now Zealand Council of/Agriculture to bo held in July, aro to be considered at tho nest general committee meeting. The Finance Committee reported receipts since last meeting, £60 10s. 7d., on balance £436 Bs. 4d., outstanding subscriptions £85.—Own correspondent.
