STEAMER PASSENGER'S STORY

A passenger, who was on board the Batavier when the vessel was captured by a German submarine, says: "I was awakened on Thursday morning, and told that a submarine had captured the ship. German officers boarded her, and took us to Zeebrugge. We were all confined to otir cabins, and brought to the inner harbour, where we were kept imprisoned for two days, and not al!owed_ to go on deck.
