In reference to the application for the cancellation of the Australian Workers' Union, Judge Murray has decided not to cancel the union, but to make an order which would cancel the union if certain alterations of the rules are carried out. He fixed the end of May to bring up the matter again. NEW MUSICIANS' UNION. Sydney, March 20. A' new Musicians' Union has been formed. [The registration of the first union was cancelled on the application of the employers.] AFTERNOON SHIFT TROUBLE. Sydney, March 20. Three of the afternoon shift collieries have not resumed, the men refusing to work alongside men who were employed during the strike. Tho whole trouble threatens to be reopened.
