ODDFELLOWS' CONFERENCE

The proceedings of the Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows wero concluded to-day. The Grand Master, Bro. Valentine, presided. A special resolution was passed expressing appreciation of the patriotism of 200 brethren of the Older in joining the Expeditionary Forcos for active service nt the Front. It was decided that subject to the approval of the Registrar all contributions of members of the Expeditionary Forccs should bo paid by' tho central body while those members arc on active service. The sum of £25 was voted to tho 'Belgian Relief Fund. An expenditure of £100 from the Grand Lodgo Funds was authorised lor tho reception and entertainment of delegates to the session of the Grand Lodge of Australasia to be held in Dunodm in 1917.
