SHAMROCK DAY
IRISH GUARDS REMEMBERED. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Ucc. March 19, 5.55 p.m.) . London, March 18. Fifteen hundred ladies, headed by the Countess of Limerick and Lady Jellicoe, sold shamrock in the streets in aid of the funds to maintain free buffets at stations for soldiers. A big wreath of shamrock and laurel leaves was placed on the late Lord Roberts's grave at St. Paul's. Queen Alexandra sent 6hamrock to the Irish Guards who are at the Front.— "Times" and Sydney "Sun" aervicos.
