SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly windß generally. The barometer iB likely to rise soon for. a. short timo in the north, but fall shortly in the 60utli. A temporary improvement ill the weather may bo expected in the north, but a change is probable early in the week in the south, with increasing cloudiness and freshening northerly winds. The barometer has been relatively low northward of East Cape and Kawhio, and strong easterly winds have then ruled, with rain and cloudy weather, ,but elsewhere fair to cloudy conditions have prevailed, with east to south-easterly breezes.
