PAIRS AND RJNK FINALS. On account of the /persistent rain yesterday it was found to be impossible to play off the final games'in the champion pairs and rink tourneys. ' As the final pennant games between Wellington and Petone are to ba played tomorrow, it will probably be next Wednesday afternoon before these games can be played. The Wellington Club will be represented by the following players against Petone in the final for the pennants on Saturday:—At home: Grenfell, Wyatt, G. Brown, Churchward (s.); L. Blundell. Two rinks from the Lyall Bay Bowling Club visited Johnsonville on Wednesday afternoon, and a friendly match resulted as follows: —Lyall Bay: Toomer, Dallison, Morrah, Fairway (s.), 21; Johnsonville—Harrap, Bould, Embury, Edge («.), 13. Lyall Bay—Tyrrell, Dillon, Lambert, Ravon (s.), 27; Johnsonvillo—Hardy, Hod, Ferguson, Orr (s.), 16.
