OVERSEA GIFTS FOR THE BELGIANS
TWO DISTINCT FUNDS (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) Melbourne, March 18. Mr. Lewis Harcourt (Secretary of State' for the Colonies) has cabled to Mr. Fisher (Federal Prime Minister) stating that the Commission for Relief in Belgium is, anxious only that the money whiph is remitted through the High Commissioner or the Agents-Gcn-eral shall be-handed over direct to the Commission, which devotes itself exclusively to the feeding of tho civil population in Belgium. The fund is quite distinct from tho Belgium Relief Fund, which is a general fund. TENNIS PLAYERS' GIFT TO THE FUND. Sydney, March 18. The Tennis Association has decided to givo tho not proceeds of the inter-State tournament, to bo hold from April 16 to April 24, to tho Belgian Relief Fund.
