- SUBMARINE PIRACIES ANOTHER VESSEL SUNK (Rec. Maroh 10, 1.25 a.m.) Londonj March 18, i Reutor's Sluis correspondent reports : that XJ. 28 stopped a British vesßel to leeward of tho Jla&s lightship and placs ed bombs on board. Those failed to 3 sink her. The submarine was compelled to return, finally sinking tho steamer i after working for an hour. The crew ' were landed. Submarines vainly pursued tho British steamers Avocet and Lestris to ' Dutch waters.
