"Under charter to the Union Company the Japanese steamer Keishin Maru arrived in tho stream at Wellington from San Francieco late,last night. The vessel cleared the Californian port-on' February 11, and should have put in an appearance - here last Sunday. She has evidently been ; delayed by had Weather. The r? Maru is in command of Captain 1. Uchiyama, and is a vessel or 4195 tons cross and 2601 tons net register. Her port of registry is Daireu. From information gathered in Wellington it is understood that the Keishin Maru was at one time ovined by thelndraLine.and visited Wellington as the Indradevi. The # Keishin Maru's. present owners are Goshi Kaiena Tatsuuma Shokai. She will proceed on to Sydney from here. NEW HUDDART-PARKER COLLIER. Particulars of the Huddart, Parker and Co.'s new collier Hebburn (recently launched by the Blyth Shipbuilding and Dry Docks Company) are as follow:— Length, 570 ft.; breadth, 51ft.; and moulded depth, 27.5 ft. She has been constructed under special survey for Lloyd's highest class. She is of tho single-deck type, with poop, bridge, and top-gallant forecastle. The vessel has been specially designed for the Australian coal trade. The Hebburn is rigged as a four-masted schooner, eacn mast being complete with the f latest equipment for quick and economical working of cargo. A special feature of the Hebburn will be tho deck machinery, comprising thirteen steam winches and two friction winches, powerful steam windlass ana "uteam steering-gear.
