There was a fuU attendance •->! . buyers. All crossbred advanced 5 per cent, compared with closing rates of pre- ] vious saJes." • • Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and C 0.,. Ltd.. , have received the following cablegram from their London friends, Messrß. Sanderson, Murray, and Co., under date March I 16:—"Sale8 opened with good attendance ■ ftnd'good.competition. Faulty, merino, 5 per cent. v 'lower;'" market weak. Be6t de- - Fcriptions no change. New Zealand cross- j bred, greasy advanced 5 per cent.: Other descriptions no change." ' The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company,' Ltd., have received the following oablegram from -their London house, under date March 16:—"The wool tales qpened on March 16. There ie no change in tho market for good merino, but for other descriptions the market is weaker. Greasy, medium .and coarse crossbred are 5 per cent, higher. ■ France -, and America are. competing." Mcsbts. W; ' and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having received the follow-. lng cablegram from their London agents; under date March. '6:—"Crossbred?, fine, par to 5 per cent, advance; others, 5 per cent, advance." Messrs Levin and. Oo.„ Limited, havo received the following cablegram from their London, agents:—"Tho wool sales opened yesterday with crossbrcds '5 per cent, dearer, while slipe, scoured, and best merinos were unchanged, but faulty merinos were in favour of the buyers."
