ROSENEATH RATEPAYERS

MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION. About twenty-five members attended the meoting of the Roseneath Ratepayers' Association on Tuesday. Mr. T. W. Ward. presided. Very satisfactory replies were received from the City Council to various requests made by the associetion. Especially was gratification expressed at the announcement that .the council were laying kerbing and channelling with a view to the future laying of asphalt footpaths throughout the district.^ A good deal of time was spent in dis-' cussing tho forthcoming municipal elections. It was decided to co-operate with the Greater Wellington Municipal Electors' Association to secure the return of members who would look after the interests of the whole of tho city, and who would give attention to beautifying and town-planning schemes.
