o WEDDING OF A WOUNDED SOLDIER, An interesting war wedding was that of Privato John Foley, 18th Royal Irish Regiment, and Miss Nellie O'Keefe, of Cork, which took placo at Wandsworth, on January 12. The bridegroom had his leg badly smashed by shrapnel, and was removed to the Patriotic Hospital, Wandsworth, where the limb was amputated, tlio operation nearly provinc fatal, owing to the loss of blood. The patient, however, made a wondorful recovery. Tlio bride was given away by Colonel Bruce Porter, officer commanding.at th« hospital, and was attended by Miss liolden, the matron, as bridesmaid, with eight nurses in uniform as maids of honour. Lieutenant Harrison was the groomsman. The wedding" breakfast was given by the officers at the hospital, ■ and in the afternoon a reception iraa Jield'at which, ths gjuests were ths rounded men in tis jristitution.
