A UNIQUE SOUVENIR, A most artistic souvenir of the Plinv-mer-Hall Comedy tour has been arranged by Mr. Charles Blake, and will b* sold at the Grand Opera House each evening during the Wellington season. The cover, which will be of fine art paper, will contain an admirable sketch of King Albert of Belgium, blended in with the colours of that intrepid little nation. There will also be pictures of King George, the Tsar of Russia, and President Poincaire, in a, prominent position, and photographs of Messrs. Harry Plimmer and Winter Hall, and the members of the company. Mr. Frank Morton and others are contributing appropriate articles. The first copy, to be elaborately printed on silk, and which will contain a parchment insertion bearing the signatures of His Excellency the Governor, the Prime Minister, members of the Cabinet, Sir Joseph Ward, and- the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) will be sold by auction at the Grand Opera House on Saturday evening in aid of the fund, which the tour is to benefit. A BIT 0' GREEN. "It's only a bit o' green ribbonbut it's for the Belgians!" said a young miss, who was vending the colours of St. Patrick's Day in the street yesterday. The appeal, simple, unaffected, and real, had tlio desired effect, and the man bought knowing he was paying 6(1. for a ha'porth of emerald green ribbon.
