£500 DAMAGES
SYDNEY "DAILY TELEGRAPH" SUED FOR LIBEL. (Rec. March 15, 10.15 p.m.) Sydney, March 15. Thomas Irvine Campbell, secretary of the Farmers' and Settlers' Association, has been awarded £500 damages against the "Daily Telegraph" for alleged libel in a paragraph alleging that the plaintiff had been charged with embezzling the funds of the Farmers' Storage Export Company. ;
