PATRIOTIC TOUR
PRIME MINISTER TO SUPERVISE FINANCES. Messrs. H. Plimmer and Winter Hall waited upon the Prime Minister (tlie Hon. W. F. Massey) on Saturday morning, and as the result of tha interview Mr.' Massey stated that he would supervise the finances in connection with the patriotic tour about, to be ' commenced by the gentlemen named. Mr. Massey has fully posted as to the company's intentions, and in according his patronage and support to the idea has assured the theatrical managers mentioned that all lie can reasonably do to assist the tour will be done. . On the opening night (Saturday next)" the. Right Hon. the Prime Minister I will grace the initiation of the tour 1 with a few briof remarks bearing on the great effort to be made throughout the I country during the next ten weeks. *
