Messrs. 'Dalgcty' and. Company, Limited, report,, having held their usuely weekly sale in tho Solway yards on Wednesday. There was quite a good yarding of sheep, the bulk'of them being ewes. Good-con-ditioned and sound-mouth ewes • met a. ready sale, but low-conditioned ewes wore fairly hard to quit. We fiold a fair line of 555 full-month ewes at 12s. ild. Other five-year ewes realised from 4e. lOd. to Ua. 2d.; b.f.,lambfi,,66. Id., 9s. 7d., 9s. Bd.; whitefaced lambs, 3s. 6d.. te; Bd., and 6s. 9d.; we',offered a nice'line, of 26 fat and- forward, cows, but these did not reach tho owner's -reserve.

Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Master ton, . report having held a, most successful clearing sale at Tawet«i&, on Wednesday, on account of Mr. J. P..'Harrison, when there was a large attendance from the local districts. All the stock came forward in splendid condition, and met with keen competition.
