Watkins, Hull and 'Wheeler, public accountants, certify that they have examined the above statement, and compared it with the published subscription list appearing in the Dominion newspaper, and also with copies of the letters of acknowledgment sent by the local Belgian Consul to Gisborne and Hastings, and certify that the, various amounts, as detailed, have been handed to the New Zealand Government to ba cabled to the Belgian Ambassador in London, free of all charges.
