On Sunday afternoon the usual public meeting of the Order of the Star in the East was held in the Star Hall, Woodward Street. . Mr. Tolley gave a very interesting address on the ' subject of "Universal Brotherhood." The lecturer said that as our present state of society was the outcome of slow growtF, so the much-needed change must also bo expected to-take a long time before much difference could be made.
