THE CLYDE ENGINEERING STRIKE

NO AGREEMENT YET

London, March 7. The conference between representatives of the employers and the workers at Sheffield has not arrived at an agreement regarding the Clyde dispute, and has referred the matter to the Government for arbitration.

The workers at Southampton shipyards will get an increase of ss. per week and 10 per cent, on piecework from the 13th' inst. The employers will confer on Tuesday nest.
