Conference oontinues its programme of work at Day's Bay. On Saturday morning the time was occupied by mission study, and Bible oirole study followed, with the discussion of certain problems in the religious work department; •>. A paper was read on the "World's Week of Prayer," and the evening public address was given by tho Rev. H. Hunt, who had laboured for fifteen years in 'New Guinea and Samoa upon missions. Sunday was devoted to a short service in the morning, conducted by Miss M'Lean, M.A., and a Vesper service, conducted by. Miss Helen Barnes, leader of the conference. In the evening the conference was conducted by Mr. H. Lang, who gave an address upon the characteristics of Christian leadership.

Mrs. Rutherford and Miss Gretchen Rutherford are visiting Wellington.

. Misa Anderson (Kilbirnie) and Mfss Drummoud are visiting Wairoa.

Mrs. Vavasour arrived in Wellington on Saturday from Marlborough.

Mr. and Mrs. Radcliffe, who have been visiting Samoa, returned to Wellington on Sunday.

Mrs. Seaton left yesterday on a visit to the Wairarapa.

Cabled advice has been received in Wellington of the death at Boston, U.S.A., of Mrs. Warden Clarke, wife of Commander Edgar Warden Clarke, R.N. Mrs. Warden Clarke was on her way to Now Zealand to visit her son, Mr. R. P. Clarke, who has been on the staff of the National Bank in Wellington for some time past.
