The military correspondent of "The Times", contrasts the treatment by the British and Germans of their new troops. - The latter have attacked bravely but stupidly, suffering immense losses,' and the new formations are being dissolved rapidly. Experience has shown that new troops cannot be advantageously used in this manner, except for a single blow. The British method is better. The British are not hurrying their troops, but are bringing them to the .front slowly in small numbers. A great thing is the completing of their training behind the lines, and then gradually letting them replace the regulars.—("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.)
