j IBy Teleerwh.—Press Aosooiotlon.) ! 9 — UNKNOWN BODY FOUND. Auoklarid, March 7. The body of an unknown man, about 35 years of age, was found under the Grafton Bridge this morning. One of the man's arms was broken, and. he had apparently been there about fifteen hours. It is not known whether it is a case of suicide or not. A Painters' Union Book was found on the body; It is inscribed with the name of J. Melton. i Shortly after 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, a boy named Ernest Fredrickson, while crossing the approach to the Hutt Bridge, in 1 order to gain the footway, was knocked down by an unknown motor-cyolist, • and sustained a broken collarbone and bruised leg and arm. Dr. M'Donald attended, the injuries of the boy, who was removed to his home on the Hutt Road. An eye-' witness states that the cyclist, who was travelling from the direction of the railway station, came along rapidly on the wrong side of the road.
