"BEWARE OP SNIPERS': (Rec. March 7, 4.10 p.m.) London, March 6. "Eye-witness" states that to avoid getting lost in the trenches these are now labelled with signposts that are whitewashed. The posts give the directions. "Beware of snipers" is posted up in many places. Many of the dugouts are named "The Ritz," "The Carlton," and' "the Metropole." Rival shooters signal with' flags the results of shots. The German soldiers now get a loaf between three men, instead of between two men.
