(Rec. March 5, 11.15 p.m.) Paris, March s'. The Army Medical Corps report that shocking injuries are received through the Gorman contrivances of spraying with petrol the trenches. The feature's: of the wounded are horribly disfigured, limbs are swollen and uniforms burnt off. . - The French suddenly found jets of petrol falling in their trendies, and tho officers ordered pii>es to be put out, but this was fruitless, as the "Germans throw liand grenades and the trenches were ablaze. The Germans, profiting by, the confusion, flung lighted torches, anil the' French retreated to their sccond line. •
