MT. HECTOR TOURIST TRACK

The adjourned meeting of the Mount Hector Tourists' Track Committee was held at Greytown on Thursday, Mr. A. Jlurray-presiding. One tender was received for labour, supplying timber, and clearing the site of the proposed hut to be erected on Mount Alpha. After discussion it was decided not to accept tie tender until the sub-committee set up to deal with the matter considered how to pack material to Mount Alpha. The question of making the a registered body again came up, and it was decided to adjourn the question till next meeting. Mr. J. P. Thompson was elected a member of the committee.
