MOTORIST COMMITTED FOR TRIAL (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Clsborne, March 2. As a sequel to the death of Gerhird Howe on February 13, as the lesiilt of a motor accident in Gladstone Road, Paku Peakman, a Maori living at Wairoa, who was driving the car which went over deceased, appeared before the Magistrate to-day on a charge of manslaughter, and was committed for trial. Bail in £50 and two sureties of £25 each was allowed.
