Mr. Yarney, general secretary of the Y.M.C.A., ha 6 secured the assistance of a vory fine concert party for this evening's entertainment at the Y.M.C.A. Hall, Trentham. Miss Mina Caldow is accompanying the party, in o,ddition to Mr. Frank Charlton, Master. Rodney Pankliurst, Miss Betty Purdom (Mrs. Culford Bell), Mr. Spencer, and a eolo..violinist.. The manner in which Wellington's leading artists • are combining in the movement for the entertainment of the troops is worthy of all praise. During tho present week. tho Y.M.C.A. Hall will be occupied by four separate concert parties from town, and. already three parties are arranged for next week.
