PATRIOTIC FUNDS
THE PRIME MINISTER'S LIST. The following contributions to patriotic and other relief funds have been received, by..the. trime Minister:—
Tho objects of this fund are to pro- I vide by voluntary contributions from I the people of New Zealand, food, clothing, and general .assistance for those in distress in Great' Britain, Ireland, and Belgium as a result of the war. Mr. laii Duncan (of Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd.) is honorary treasurer of the | fund, Mr. William Pryor (National Mutual Buildings) is hon. secretary of the Wellington Branch, Mr. R. W. Shallcrass, of the New Zealand Sports Protection League, is general seoretary for New Zealand.
CIFT TOBACCO FUND. Contributions to the fund for the supply of cigarettes ana tobacco to members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces while at the front- may be sent either to this office or to His Worship the Mayor—2e. 6d. will buy 100 cigarettes or 4oz. tobacco: £ s. d.
