Recently the instruments used by the old Lower Hutt Brass Band were handed over to the safe keeping of the local Borough Council. Lovers of music will probably bo interested to learn that theso instruments are to bo usod sooner than was anticipated, as tho Lower Hutt branch of the National Reserve intends to form a brass band of its own, to bo called tho National Iwserve aaid Municipal Brass Band. . It has been stated that, the Pofcone Municipal Band has volunteered to become an honorary band to. both tho Hutt and-Potone branches of tho reserve.
