THE BRITISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Christchuroh, February 28. The annual meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical As*ociation wan concluded this morning, when a meeting of the council was held. Pr. M'Gavin (Wellington) was elected' chairman of the council, and Dr. Gibbs. (Wellington) was elected honorary general secretary. The Hon. R. Beaton 'Rhodes, Minister of Public Health, was elected an honorary member of the association. A special vote of thanks was passed to Dr. F. L. Scott (Christchuroh), the secretary of tho annual meeting. The annual dinner held on Friday eight was very enjoyable and successful. about sixty members being present.
