TO-NIGHT'S ORGAN RECITAL
The' weekly organ recital will be held in tli© Town H'sill to-night, when the City Organist will submit a very, entertaining programme. There are again two new items to bo found on tonight's programme. .The first is the psychological poem by a. great Russian oomposer, Rebikoff, which should at least be a sufficient attraction for the musio lovers of Wellington ■to attend the recital. Perhaps the'ohief- item of interest,is, a composition for the organ written by Arthur "Alexander, who is a native of these islands. He ww born in St. Clair, Dunedin. and is an old Wellington College boj There will be a repetition of the three sixteenth and seventeenth century composers, eome of whose works, were performed last Sat-, urday. Tha other items of the programme will be Sonatina (Karg-Elert), Elegie (Claiissmann), and Finale (Cesar Franck). • '
