The members of the Wellington City Council staff held their annual picjnc ,at Day's Bay yesterday, when a very enjoyable day's outing was. spent., During the day a short programme of sports was held, and the following are the names of the winners in the different events:— 50vds. Swimming Race.—W. N. Lever, 1; H. Tate. 2; D. H. Scott, 3. 100 yds. Handicap—A. Halligan, 1; J. E. Radican. 2; L. Warwick,,' 3. 220 yds.' Handicap.—L. Warwick, lj H. Nicholls, 2;' A.
