The number of entries received lor fruit alone is 728, and' the management at Hastings' make a special, feature • ot placing the. name of the variety on every ,plate so as to give the show an educative value. The total number of entries is over 1700, including the horse competi-tions,-in. which -all the leading Hawkes Bav horses are taking part. . The show opens'on the evening of Tuesday, March 2, and -remains open throughout the day and evening of March 3.
