ATTEMPT TO LOOT THE SHOPS Amsterdam, February 24. 'A 1 number of the wealthiest people have left Germany for Scandinavia for the sake of getting pure, bread. ' f There were riots yesterday in several cities, and there is muoh discontent. At Magdenburg, where there is insufficient bread, the women and- children endeavoured to .loot the shops. The police suppressed the outbreak.
