COLONEL SESLY'S NEW COMMAND
EXPLANATION IN PARLIAMENT. (Rec. February 25;. 5.45 p.m.) London, February 25. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr H. J. Tennant (Parliamentary Secretary to the War Office), announced that Colonoy Seely (formerly Secretary for War, but resigned over the Army and Home Rule crisis), was appointed Brigadier-General, commanding the cavalry brigade, consisting of the Second King Edward's Horse, and two regiments of Canadians. -He was not aware of any dissatisfaction amongst the Canadian officers, and the appointment was popu Jar in Canada.
