DOMINION "WAYZGOOSE"

• The eighth annual "wayzgoose" of The Dominion staffs, which took place at Maidstone Park, Upper Hutt, on Saturday, proved a perfectly enjoyable outing. An excellent sports programme—directed by Messrs. A. Sando, C. Reid, D. Boyle, A. Kinnear, S. Kirby, P. Thomson, and Richardson—entertained the spectators by its variety 'and tho many close finishes aroused ranch enthusiasm.Messrs. N-. Francis and D. Morgan fulfilled the duties of handicappsr and. starter respectively, and the _ appreciative references to the abilities of Mr. R. C. Temple (secretary) and, Mr. J. Brown (treasurer) were well deserved. .. The many'children present found excellent imitators of Father Christmas in Messrs.'S.-Rastall, A. Macintyre, and A. Wright,.who catered for their entertainment. The general committee desires to express • its ..thanks to the following donors towards the "wayzgoose" funds The Hon. J. Duthie, M.L.C.; Messrs. J.
