RIFLE-SHOOTING
OLD NAVALS CLUB. lie Old Navals Defence Riflo Club fired a match on their range on Saturday afternoon for a trophy presentedby their president, Mr. J: Babe. The conditions were 9 shots arid a sighter at each, 800 and 500 "yards. The donor of the prize 'secured nret place with a. very creditable score, 1 making a possible at the 500 yds. range. His sighting shot was a three, and' with a slight adjustment of his sights he put , all his other shots into the centre or the bull'seye. President Rabe allowed- his trophy to go to second' place, which was secured by R. Pringle. .The members were very pleased to welcome an old member of the club on the range during the afternoon in the person of Mr. Charles Hodder, who 'fired for the. first time on the new range, and put up a very oreditable .performance.
